Lux Mundi

An audiovisual experience that connects cultural heritage and digital technology. A bridge between the 12th century and the present, projecting a vision towards the future. Four digital artists – Alba G. Corral, Desilence, Hamill Industries and MASSO -reinterpret the frescoes of the iconic apse of the church of Sant Climent de Taüll, which have been on display at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) for a hundred years. Lux Mundi is a project curated by Antònia Folguera that combines heritage and innovation, highlighting digital creativity in Catalonia, allowing the recreation of images from our past and projecting them into the future through art and light.
The soundtrack was created by Tarta Relena. Their voices use the traditional songbook of the Mediterranean—and beyond—to open a portal that allows travel between the past and the future without leaving the present.
The combination of heritage and innovation is as inevitable as the light that allows us to recreate the images of our past.
Let there be light!
